Our Story

Sana Ali Meghani & Phillip Nevels

Co-Founders and Managing Partners

Rooted in her experiences as a Pakistani immigrant and first-generation college student, Sana Ali Meghani is guided by the principle of seva (selfless service) and has spent over a decade championing and designing equity-centered initiatives that uplift minoritized communities.

Growing up in a predominantly Black working-class neighborhood in South Dallas, the son of a social worker and grassroots organizer, Phillip Nevels developed an early interest in harnessing the limitless power of the collective to uplift communities through service and servant leadership.

Their family background and upbringing instilled in them a deep commitment to service and equity, which they've carried into their work side-by-side across three different organizations and several national initiatives.

Together, they combine their lived experiences with years of leadership and expertise in community building, higher education, and nonprofit management to help organizations turn bold ideas into sustainable action. By leveraging their collective experience, they empower organizations and teams to create lasting impact, drive meaningful change, and transform the systems that shape our communities.
